Kuznets, Simon Smith
(1901-1985) Кузнец, Саймон Смит
Американский экономист, выходец из России. Окончил Колумбийский университет [Columbia University]. Работал в Национальном бюро экономических исследований [National Bureau of Economic Research], профессор Пенсильванского [Pennsylvania, University of], Гарвардского [Harvard University] и других университетов. Автор концепции валового национального продукта [gross national product], системы расчетов национального дохода и ряда методов прикладной статистики для измерения объемов национального производства. Член Американской академии гуманитарных и точных наук [American Academy of Arts and Sciences] и ряда академий в других странах мира. Лауреат Нобелевской премии 1971 по экономике
